About the Artist

I am Nicole Kazonie—a blend of nations. Through my father, I am Indigenous and a member of the Beaver First Nation Band in Alberta. Through my mother, I am 5th generation immigrant, born in Kamloops, BC. For the past 23 years, I've called Stony Plain, AB home.

My creative journey began in childhood and my spiritual journey in my teens, but nine years ago I deep-dived into my spirituality. That spiritual outlook became my lifeline when I faced a five-year addiction that nearly took everything.

When I first launched this website, I was clinging to it like a life raft—using it to make ends meet and trying to stay one step ahead of fear and uncertainty.

Today is different.

It's April 5, 2026, and I am 9 months, 30 days clean. My vision is stable today.

I don't need this space to be my survival plan anymore. I've found my footing, I'm living within my means, and I've reclaimed my voice. This website has evolved from a place of "getting by" to a Lighthouse—a space where I share my artwork and creations that are medicine to the soul. The All Scenic Eye Oracle Deck carries my artwork and insight, infused with moments captured in Alberta, each card to bring inspiration and helping you stay aligned for your human experience.

My Art, My Recovery, My Story

I believe that healing through art isn't just about the "why" behind the brushstrokes. Art is my way of life, it's what keeps me grounded in who I am today.

My work is a blend of:

• *The Spiritual: Lessons from a decade-long journey of the soul.
• *The Raw: the honest reality of recovery and reclaiming my life as a mom and as a citizen of this community, by staying present.
• *The Fun: Because if we aren't finding joy in the mess, what's the point?

Then head over to Blake's Bakery where I have a treasure trove of art hanging up. I also added a new painting titled "Trust Your Process" hanging at Urban Cannabis on South Park, Dr. Then head on over to Skydancer Indigenous Cultural Center and Gallery. There you will find a a few more pieces that speak to my heart.
